Patriot will seek to make investments in 15 to 20 companies. Investments will be either non-control (growth investments) or control (buyout investments). The fund will generally seek board representation for its larger investments. With each investment Patriot will work with the companies management teams to identify and prioritize key business initiatives and implement “best practices” for franchise growth. In sourcing transactions, Patriot intends to utilize both its extensive industry relationships and a proactive internal research approach.
